Beautiful Boutique Straw Bale Cottage, completely private with 3 double bedrooms (sleeps 6) on a 16 acre farm in Brightwater, Nelson. In the heart of wine country with beaches, rivers (fly fishing in the Motueka Valley), cafes, cycle trails 5 mins away. Great outdoor area with BBQ and brazier.

This Boutique Nelson Accommodation is the ultimate in luxury whilst being extremely quiet and so peaceful you could hear a pin drop! There are rabbits hopping around on the lawn and the distant call of lambs in the next door field.

Guest access

The Last Straw Cottage has it's own driveway and car parking area. It is suitable for up to 3 vehicles. The cottage is completely private and only guests are invited to use the space in and around the Cottage during your stay. There are however spaces around the Cottage to wander. We can also accompany you to walk through the paddocks and enjoy the views.

Other things to note

Breakfast is included in the room rates. Locally sourced eggs, bread and milk plus home made preserves and baked goods and a selection of cereals.

If you wish to bring your pet, please ask us first to ensure the property is suitable for them. Pets do need to be kept under strict control whilst outside as there are cattle grazing in adjacent paddocks. Pets cannot be left alone in the Cottage whilst you are out exploring.
