Glamping in a very comfortable hut for 2p in a unique alpine landscape with amazing views. Love the outdoors with walks, mountain biking or fishing closeby, or just relax on this 5ha private property. Swim in a mountain lake or have some fun on the pond in a kayak. In winter the ski field is just up the road. The middle hut has a fully equipped kitchen, lounge and bathroom with shower basin and toilet which is shared between the guests of the 2 huts.
The space
This place is a great stop for cyclists on the Alpine Pacific Route
You are staying in an alpine area. Mt Lyford village has no shops but we do have a bar/restaurant closeby (1.7 km down the road). For groceries and fuel the closest place is Waiau (23 km).
The huts have as an extra the option to use a gas fired outdoor hot tub. Note this is $ 60 for 1 day and $30 for consecutive days. Booking works on a first in, first served basis. Please book at least one day before arrival so we can get it set up for you and preheated.
Note there is no cell phone coverage.
