About the Villa
The Chalet is a beautifully restored two-bedroom private villa, ideal for couples and families seeking a peaceful and exclusive beach getaway. The villa accommodates 4 to 6 guests and combines modern comfort with the charm of a heritage home dating back approximately 100 years.
The beach is just a one-minute walk across the road, and guests may also enjoy complimentary day access to the owner's three beach villas when available.
The Chalet is completely private and offers fast, free fibre-optic Wi-Fi. Guests can choose to stay with the villa's dedicated staff or enjoy the property independently.
The Space
Both bedrooms feature air conditioning, ceiling fans, private dressing rooms and spacious ensuite bathrooms. Fresh white linen is provided.

- Pool View Bedroom: Three single beds with mosquito netting
The comfortable living room includes sofas and a television, while the centrally located kitchen provides a convenient space for meal preparation.
The living and dining areas open onto a spacious verandah overlooking the private pool and beautifully maintained garden. Sun loungers and pool towels are provided.
Service
Guests can enjoy 24/7 maid service, with a chef also available. The villa is cleaned twice daily and a manager is available to assist throughout your stay.
If you prefer complete privacy without staff service, simply let us know in advance.
Cots and highchairs are available at no additional charge.
Dining
Meals are freshly prepared to order, with fresh vegetables, fruit and seafood purchased daily. Lobster and lagoon crab can also be arranged on request.
The chef can accommodate a variety of dietary preferences, including Halal, vegetarian and vegan meals. Meal arrangements can be discussed with the chef or manager before and during your stay.
For guests arriving late at night or early in the morning, a snack or hot meal can be prepared with advance notice.
Guest Access
Guests have exclusive access to the entire property, making The Chalet your own private holiday home.
Subject to availability, guests can also spend the day at the owner's three beach villas across the road or the lakefront cottage approximately 1 km away, at no additional charge. The lakefront cottage offers beautiful views of Koggala Lake.
When available, meals can also be served at one of the beach villas.
Location
The Chalet is conveniently located near the surfing beaches of Kathaluwa and Ahangama, as well as local cafés and music bars.
Popular destinations including Weligama, Unawatuna, Mirissa and Galle Fort, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, are approximately 15–30 minutes away.
Wellness
Ayurvedic massage and yoga sessions can be arranged at the property with advance notice. An Ayurvedic-trained masseuse can provide treatments using herbal oils, or guests may provide their preferred oils.
A yoga instructor is also available on request.
Families & Safety
The living room has a child safety door, and the main door can be secured to help prevent young children from accessing the pond area.
Please note that the swimming pool and pond are not fenced and there are no lifeguards at the property. Parents and guardians are responsible for supervising children around all water areas.
Additional Information
All bedrooms have bolt locks and padlocks. Guests are encouraged to secure their bedrooms when not in use. If the entire group leaves the villa, staff can assist with securing the property.
Staff are friendly, courteous and discreet and understand the importance of guest privacy. The pool and garden are maintained daily.
A local doctor can visit the villa, with a nearby clinic and private and teaching hospitals available in Galle. Specialist medical appointments can also be arranged, with the villa's managers able to assist with transportation if required.
For peace of mind, guests are encouraged to arrange appropriate travel, accident and medical insurance before their stay.
