The Artist's House

The house has been a much loved family holiday home for 25 years, attention has been paid to the important things you need for a relaxing time away. The beds are comfortable, the towels are large and fluffy and the kitchen is well equipped with cutlery and crockery that has been assembled over time. The house is furnished with a mix of antiques and contemporary pieces and the decor is personal, eclectic and a bit funky.

A 4 storey maison de ville in the centre of the town right in amongst all the important stuff you want from a stay in Ceret; restaurants, cafes, shops, museums and galleries, the Saturday market and events, the mountains and the river.

The house has 3 generous double bedrooms with 2 shower rooms (one with a massive bath) and a downstairs loo. There are two sitting rooms, one on the ground floor in an open plan kitchen/dining space with a large wood burning stove, the other on the top floor with a tv and an extensive movie library. This room can be adapted to accommodate more kids on 'put-up' beds if required. We can arrange a cot if one is needed.

On the top floor there is a good sized roof terrace with a barbeque and a simple roof kitchen - a great place for breakfast, lunch or a long evening meal.
