Located in the grounds of Ica Station Homestead, Ica Whare affords visitors comfortable, clean, rustic accommodation. Thick with interesting early New Zealand rural character and situated at the end of a 'no exit' road, Ica Whare has captured the beauty of New Zealand.

Ica Station Homestead's mature grounds exude privacy and seclusion and are in keeping with the long history of the homestead. Looking after and protecting our environment is important to us, so we encourage our guests to recycle, reuse and compost wherever possible. The vegetable garden is continually under development, aiming to be more productive. Inside the B&B and cottages we like to use eco friendly cleaning products.
Located in 20 acres of secluded grounds, our accommodation guests enjoy complete peace and relaxation ensuring they leave fully recharged after every stay.
Seasonal Walking
Running October to April, our seasonal Whareama Coastal Walk is a fantastic New Zealand fully catered walking experience over private farmland and isolated Wairarapa coastline. We proudly offer 1, 2 or 3 day walk options for all ages and abilities.
