This well-proportioned apartment has beautiful arched windows that frame the most amazing views. It was originally used as a cantina for wine. In fact, much of the seasoned oak from the old abandoned barrels was used to make the kitchen furniture in Tinaia and the main Villa. The walls have been left in the natural local stone and the fireplace has been built by a local stonemason.
You have a large space for cooking, dining and relaxing, with beautifully made old chestnut and oak furniture, and stained glass windows on the large arched entrance door. The bedroom is very pretty and the furnishings are antique; the en suite bathroom has a bathtub with shower, W/C, bidet and wash-hand basin, and a picturesque view to enjoy in the mornings. Tinaia has its own secluded garden and patio (where my sister likes to hide when there are no guests staying!) with wonderful views over the olive groves, forests, and vineyards on the hills beyond. It is set slightly apart from the other buildings making it a lovely romantic hideaway.

* For those chilly months (April & October) there is a lovely open fireplace to keep you warm. When lit, this fire also heats the water for the bedroom and bathroom radiators. Get it going and the whole place will be lovely and warm. However, if you don't like lighting real fires, then perhaps you would be better off choosing an apartment with heating in the chilly months.
