The space

The cottage offers a spacious experience, with the convenience of a walk out private deck from the open plan kitchen, dining room and lounge area, accessible through double sliding doors. The private deck is elevated to give uninterrupted views of the forest and sunsets. The bedroom looks out over the magnificent gardens with a luxury on-suite bathroom. The cottage is beautifully decorated and styled and fully self-contained with a fireplace for those cooler, mystical forest nights. There is a sofa bed in the lounge

Guest access

There is parking available on the property. The use of your own vehicle is recommended. The main Tourist Road is easily accessible by car, limited public transport with a public bus service which runs along the main tourist road in the Dandenong Ranges. Accessible to public transport to Melbourne City via train routes from Ferntree Gully or Lilydale. The main tourist road is a stroll away from the cottage where you can access public transport which will take you to the quaint villages of Olinda and Sassafras. Public transport routes include Belgrave, Croydon and Lilydale. Bus services are not frequent, and you will need to plan your journey. If you are adventurous and fit enough you can walk or cycle to Olinda along the footpath adjacent to the main tourist road. Olinda is 5kms from the cottage and the walk can be challenging. You can stop at the" Pig and Whistle" pub on the way to Olinda. Destiny Point offers fantastic breakfast and is a small walk from the cottage. Arrangements can be made with me to take you on a Wine tasting tour to the Yarra Valley Wineries
