Yurt 4

Inside Yurt 4 is a king-size bed and two single futons. It also has authentic Mongolian furniture and wall hangings and other items of furniture. The large crown lets in light and a rain cap can be removed for star gazing on fine evenings. The central wood burning stove has a fire guard and everything you need to light your fire. The wooden floors are covered with coir matting with decorative rugs on top.

Yurt 4 is located on the western side of the communal kitchen and bathrooms. The back door opens onto a large decked area which has a bench, table and chairs and a wooden steamer chair, a chimenea, BBQ and wood store. This yurt is perfect for those who want a little privacy but still to be close to the facilities, also for those who want a large eating and sunbathing space of their own.

Yurt 4 is closest to Yurt 5 (although their deck is on the other side of their yurt offering privacy) so these two yurts would be an ideal choice for two groups or couples wanting a private sleeping space but some communal space too.

We take your safety seriously so each yurt is fitted with a smoke detector, carbon monoxide alarm and a fire extinguisher. All the yurts are waterproof and thickly lined with felt for cosy warmth on cooler days.

Yurts 2, 3, 4 and 5 each have their own private bathroom near the main kitchen with a bath and a shower over, flushing toilet and hand basin with shaver light and socket.

  • Sleeps up to 4.
  • Close to the kitchen and bathrooms.
  • Own bathroom.
  • Large sunny deck with fantastic views.
  • West facing for the perfect sunset.
  • Peaceful but convenient.
